17:30 - 20:30 Evidence Based Medicine Workshop: Excellent or Excrement: Guide to Sorting Out Research Claims
This workshop was designed by the PEER team with primary care in mind. Participants will receive foundational concepts for practicing EBM in a clinical setting; a solid understanding of randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews and access to reliable sources of evidence that may be utilized amid a busy clinical practice. By the end of this workshop, you will have increased confidence to apply EBM concepts to your practice, including using evidence in shared decision making with patients.
